Thomas R. LaCroix
In 1977, Thomas R. LaCroix (Tom) founded this firm, based on the principles of professionalism and integrity. Initially, Tom practiced in the areas of oil and gas, and criminal defense; however, his clients soon expected more and Tom adapted to their needs. Though the composition of this firm has changed over the years, its mission of combining customer service and excellent legal representation has remained constant.

Long respected as an effective trial lawyer and communicator, Tom is also committed to his family and community. Serving on many boards and committees over the years, Tom takes pride in helping his community move forward and prosper. He and his wife have made their home in Grand Junction for over 33 years where they raised two daughters. Over the years, Tom has volunteered with local organizations such as: Kiwanis and Jaycee’s. He has also served on several area boards, including Community Hospital, Hospice of the Grand Valley, United Way, the Colorado National Monument and the Grand Junction Regional Airport. Tom loves the Grand Valley and the opportunities it continues to offer.

Amy C. Hand

Amy C. Hand has been practicing law since 1994, and is licensed in both the State of Colorado and Michigan. Although her practice concentrates primarily in the area of Family Law, which includes such areas as adoptions, divorce, child support and parenting time issues, parental responsibilities, property division, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and post-divorce modification proceedings, Ms. Hand also provides compassionate advocacy in a variety of areas of civil practice.

Amy takes a refreshing approach to representing clients, giving each client individual attention in a caring manner Amy’s efficient and professional approach can make your legal matter a less difficult and more cost-effective process.

René E. Capron

René joined LaCroix & Hand, P.C., in 2009 and her practice entails family law, business law, civil litigation, foreclosures, criminal law, and wills and estates. René helps her clients with all their legal needs, and is more than happy to explore all areas of law in which her current and potential clients may need representation. One thing René prides herself on is the level of attention she gives to each of her client's cases no matter what area of civil practice may be involved. René is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Denver College of Law. She is also activly involved in various community organizations including the Mesa County Bar Association and Junior Service League.
